On 9 December in Monaco was officially announced the beginning of the WTCC, the new FIA World Touring Car Championship, and was released the beginning of the Chevrolet WTCC program.
2005
From 8 to 10 April Chevrolet Lacetti WTC, which was developed and constructed from scratch RML, was first performed in the race at Monza in Italy's inauguration ceremony WTCC. 2010
For the first time since the program was introduced changes among the drivers who joined the French ace and former champion Yvan Muller WTCC. He was replaced by Nicol Larinija who retired from professional racing in late 2009. Chevrolet Cruze has seen some more improvements and proved to be excellent on all types of tracks by winning seven victories and titles of the best manufacturers and driver (Yvan Muller).
2010
