Hyundai ix35 has new engines

1.7 CRDi and 1.6 GDI engines for the new Hyundai ix35, which are available on the market. Primarily this applies to 1.7 CRDi engine, a completely new diesel engine generation U2.

1.7 CRDi engine will arrive in showrooms in a few days, a 1.6 GDI petrol engine will arrive next month.

It is a completely new diesel engine generation of U2, which was developed at Hyundai's R & D center in the Korean Namyang. The engine has a volume of 1685 cc, aluminum block, four-cylinder in-line, two overhead camshaft engine, the latest generation of direct fuel injection and turbo charger and cooler compressed air.
The currently available version develops (85 kW) 115 hp at 4000 rpm with a torque of 260 Nm is available in a range from 1250 to 2750 rpm. The engine exceeds Euro 5 standards, and released only 139 g / km CO2 with an average consumption of 5.3 l/100 km (city 6.8 l/100 km highway 4.8 l/100 km). Maximum speed is 175 km / h with acceleration from 0-100 km / h in 12.4 seconds.
1.7 CRDi engine for now is available in the ix35 version with front-wheel drive. 1.7 CRDi engine in the future will be applied to other models like the Hyundai i40, and 2011th will be available in the Performance Dual Stage Turbo with 160 hp
